Gabrielle Rene Smith, 22, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on October 5, 2024. Born on December 11, 2001, in Jackson, she was the beloved daughter of Kimberly Ann Schuler and Richard Franklin Smith. Gabrielle attended Hanover-Horton Schools before entering the workforce. She was currently working as a waitress at The Roadhouse Grill & Bar, where her vibrant personality shone brightly. An adventurous soul, Gabrielle had a passion for music and loved to bring joy to those around her. She cherished spending time with her dog, Beans, enjoyed going to the gym, and was known for being the life of the party. Gabrielle is survived by her sisters, Caitlynn Nicole Smith and Haylie Lynn Bethel; her nephew, Sylas A'mir Galloway (affectionately known as Meatball); her grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles. Gabrielle Rene's beautiful soul was welcomed on October 5th by her sister, Chloe Ann Smith; grandmothers, Gloria Lee Vowel and Edith Ann Smith; and Elijah (Bubby) Bradley. A service to honor Gabrielle will be held on October 16, 2024, with a viewing at 11:00 AM followed by the service at 12:00 PM at JaxNaz Church, located at 3905 Clinton Rd, Jackson, MI, 49201. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The House of Johnson Funeral Home in Gabrielle’s memory.
