To my Father I miss you more than any words can explain, my life has been a bit lost since sm you left but my prayers are that you are happy and at peace.
Emerick Robert Johnson ~ As I'll remember you in this PHS Photo, always smiling and glad to see you! Life took us both in different directions after that summer of 75. I remember my grad party when you show'd up late! sporting that "orange crush" fun van! ... we listened to Kool and Gang's "summer madness" and we both shared a few with my older brother Virgil ; ) And like that we made our ways through this thing called life. Wish I could have been in Jackson to witness some of these great stories & times at your shop that have been shared. To the Johnson family my heart and prayers are with you all during this time. What great and wonderful times we had growing up in Jackson Emerick!. Love you always, CT

Emmerick Johnson…
I remember first meeting Emmerick and his brother’s through the Jackson Community Choir and I remember that he played the drums and Warren the Organ. I’ll never forget Emmerick had a new little Honda Mini Bike (Greenish Blue) and that was a big thing back then for a black family. Later in our lives Emmerick became a barber, my barber and was good at it. My condolences to the Johnson family and Emmerick May you find peace amongst our ancestors as they receive you on the other side…… REST MY BROTHER UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN……
