Dwayne Versallies Dale's Obituary
Dwayne V. Dale, Sr. was born into this world February 2nd, 1964 to the late Gibbs Alexander Dale, and the late Mary Helen Secrest Dale, both of Colombia, Tennessee. He was preceded in the death of his sister Romona Williams. Dwayne married Vikki Lynne Bautista, and together they formed a joint loving family that included their sons, Dwayne, Jr., Antoine, DeAndre and daughters Tasha, T'erra, and Monique. Mr. Dale graduated from Redford High school while also attending Randolph Vocational school where he obtained an Electronic Communication and Technology Trade Certification and graduated in 1982. He later joined the Marines as an Electro-Optical Technician, where he performed technical inspections and repaired equipment from 1983-1988. In 1991, he continued his education and received an Electronics and Communication Diploma from Elkins Institute. He then served in many capacities giving Honeywell 27 years of service, as an Optical Technician in Blount Island, Florida. While there, Dwayne received many rewards and recognition for the amazing work he provided. He later received his Residential Contractor License where he was employed by Think Construction Services, and his own DVD Renovations company. Dwayne had many loves. He especially enjoyed grilling for his friends and family. He was known for his "fall off the bone Barbeque ribs" that everyone enjoyed and no matter what day or season you smelled the aroma of his BBQ in the air. Dwayne was a hard worker and loved working with his hands. He would do home improvements for his clients, friends and family which he sometimes did for free just so he could return to admire his craftsmanship. When he wasn't working you could find Dwayne in his Man Cave watching sports. Dwayne also enjoyed making people laugh and his sense of humor was contagious. He always had a joke and kept a smile on the faces of everyone he met where I'm sure he's doing now in heaven. He was a devoted father, loving husband, brother, uncle, cousin, and special friend to many. At an early age, Dwayne joined the East Side Church of God and later joined The Goodwill Church where he played the drums for the choir. He later joined the Restoration Family Church in Jacksonville, Florida under Pastor Reginald Carter where he also played the drums. He departed this life on March 29th, at Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida. He leaves to cherish his loving memories the following: a devoted wife; Mrs. Vikki Dale of Jacksonville, Florida, three sons, three daughters, five grandchildren, sister; Debra Fisher, brother-in-law; Jerri Fisher, brothers; Reginald Dale and Gibbs Dale, Jr., a special nephew; Eric Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
