Deshawn Lamont Thompson was born December 20, 1991 to Sherrie Thompson and Winston Jones. Deshawn attended the John Trix Elementary and Middle School in the Detroit Public School System and Paul K. Cousino High School of Warren Michigan.
Deshawn enjoyed sports, had a love of music, and being with his family and friends. Deshawn made his transition on April 21, 2018 at Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit Michigan.
Proceeding Deshawn in death was his mother; Sherrie Thompson, three great grandmothers; Maxine Thompson, Claudette King, Geneva Briggs and Carrie VanBuren, two grandmothers; Eleanore Jones Mathis and Deborah Thompson, great grandfather; James Toeley, two grandfathers; Winston Briggs and Bruce Mathis, and three uncles; Joe, Curtis, and Dorian Jones.
Deshawn leaves a legacy of love to his surviving family; great grandfather; Earl VanBuren, father; Winston Jones, three sisters; LaQuita Holliman, Mercedes and Deonna Thompson, six brothers; Donell, Derek, Curtis, Devin, Keshawn Thompson and Ahmad Stubbs, his uncle; David Hardy, six aunts; Deneen VanBuren, Eleanor Jones, Donna, Erica, Tomeco, and Concetta Thompson and a host of relatives and friends.
