Delores Terrell Peterson's Obituary

A Time To Be Born:
Mrs. Delores Terrell Peterson was born in Uniontown, Alabama to the late William “Bill” and Malenda Terrell.
A Time to Plant:
She confessed Chris at an early age, joining the First Baptist Church of Faunsdale, Alabama. She received her education from the Perry County School System, graduating in 1959. Delores later moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1968 to work and retire from the Chrysler Corporation. She spent the next 50 years sewing seeds of love and generosity.
A Time to Love:
United in marriage to the late Washington Carter, three children were born. She was later united in marriage to Nero Peterson, who had five children of his own. Delores was admired and respected by loved ones and neighbors alike, touching lives and fostering a spirit of community wherever she was; both she and Pete were loved by many.
A Time to Mourn:
Left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy two daughters; Linda C. Martin (Dwight), and Jacqueline C. Flowers (Robert) of Huntsville, Alabama, one son; Willard T. Carter (Alesia) of Eastpointe, Michigan, one Godson; Leon Early (Dora) of Detroit, Michigan, one Goddaughter; Raysheane Louie of Detroit, Michigan, four stepchildren; Michael Martin (Darneice), Renee Trice (Tex), D’Juana Young of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Jeffery Peterson, Sr. (Marietta) of Clarksville, Tennessee. Delores also leaves six sisters; Bertha “Tut” Burrell, Harriett Lewis, Barbara Haywood, Rosie Mary Conners, Geneva Watts, and Antionette Powell, four brothers; Willie “Vic” Coleman, Jimmy Samington, Albert Lewis, and David Hunter, five grandchildren; Autumn, Erie, and Michael Martin and Jacqueise and Robert Flowers, III, one great-granddaughter; Skyler Amour Flowers, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
A Time to Dance:
