Delores Jiles' Obituary
Delores Jiles was born on February 7, 1951, to the late Pearline Murray and Sam Edwards in Hayti, Missouri. She found true love and married LC Jiles on September 16, 1972. She gained her wings on December 18, 2023.
Delores worked numerous years with Blue Cross Blue Shield before retiring. Delores was a faithful member of Oasis of Love Full Gospel Church. She served on several committees and gave her all in whatever tasks she took on. She was a member of the Usher Board, Sick and Shut-in, and the Outreach committee just to name a few.
Delores was always willing to help others in their time of need. She had a giving spirit and always had a smile that was contagious to others. She believed in being kind to others and displayed this in all aspects of her life.
Delores accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior many years ago under the leadership of Emeritus Pastor Walter T. Pryor.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Pearline Muray, her father; Sam Edwards, brothers; Isiah Sam Edwards, Ollie Edwards, Wesley Murray and Charles Murray and great grandson; Tristan Glaspie.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband: LC Jiles; son: Michael Edwards; daughter: Michelle Edwards; grandchildren: Michael Edwards Jr., Brianna “Booder” Worthey, Diaja “Daa Daa” Edwards and Joshua Williams; two great grandchildren: Michael Edwards III and Kayonna Williams; one sister: Pearl (Robert) Murry and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
