Deborah Lynn Blakely's Obituary
Deborah Lynn Blakely (Jones) was born November 7,1958 to Ruby L. Jones and James Thomas. Deborah attended Jones Elementary School, Barbara Jordan Elementary(Junior High) School, and Kettering High School and obtained her GEDfrom a local vocational school. She loved dancing, joking around, familyand God. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, always sharing His good news. She was a simple woman that took joy in simple things. She was alwayswilling to help others and encourage them in the Lord. After phone callswith her, she would always say back at the ranch, catch 22, kicking the bobo, read psalm 23, watch as well as you pray and how much she loved us.People knew her as Deb or Dah - Borah near Mack and Van Dyke...she wasalways kind but also a feisty firecracker as well if you rubbed her the wrongway. Our mother was very versatile; from fixing cars, to painting, singing, dancing, carpentry and etc. So, on November 11, 2019 the Lord said to her, good work and I’m proudof you as He called her home to battle no more. Deborah was preceded indeath by her son; Eddie Lewis Jones, III, mother; Ruby Lynn Jones, father;James Thomas, brothers; Leroy Jones and Butch Jones, sisters; Julia andMary Jones, and aunt; Margaret Louise Goree.
