Damion Maurice Morgan was born in Jackson, Michigan on December 14, 1990, to Deanna Morgan and Bobby Harris, Jr., and left us too soon on April 23, 2021. Damion was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Wilbur and Cleomae Dungy, paternal great-grandparents, Willie B. Morgan, Sr., and Nannie Morgan, grandfather, Willie B. Morgan, Jr., Bobby Harris, Sr., and a special aunt, Loren Harris.
A devoted father and family man, Damion especially enjoyed spending time with his two daughters Lily Ana, LaMya Morgan, and his son, Darrius. He maintained a close relationship with his fiancée Vanessa McGuire, his mother Deanna, and many family members. A kind friend, he made himself available to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed whatever assistance he could give them. He enjoyed sports, working out, and sharing good fellowship with his family and friends.
Damion overcame many challenges in his life and aspired to become a motivational speaker to help those who were facing similar circumstances.
A 2009 graduate of Jackson High School, Damion was a skilled welder who was employed by Jackson Industrial Construction Company in Concord, Michigan.
Damion was well-liked by everyone he met and his passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family, friends, and loved ones.
Damion leaves to mourn his passing: his beautiful mother; Deanna Morgan, his father; Bobby (Tiye) Harris, Jr., his great-grandparents; Henderson (Lula Mae) Harris, his fiancé; Vanessa McGuire, his adorable daughters; LilyAna and LaMya Morgan, his son; Darrius Dinwiddie, his brothers; Coren Glapsie and Breylien Glaspie, Kalil Harris, Karim Harris, and Kamal Harris, his grandmothers; Sherrilyn Sims and Beverly Johnson, his aunts; Dena Morgan, Melanie Morgan, Valencia (Howard) Clark, his uncle; Tauraen Thornton, his great-uncles; Tony (Lauren) Dungy, Linden (Donna) Dungy, great-aunt; Lauren (Wesley) Dungy-Poythress, his cousins; Sharra Morgan and Parrish Joplin, his childhood friend; Quentin Lay, his close friends and a large and loving group of extended family and friends.
