Clifton Douglas Jackson, Sr.'s Obituary
Clifton Douglas Jackson, Sr. also affectionally known as
“Poolum” departed this life after a short illness on Thursday April 30, 2020 at his
home surrounded by those who loved him.
Clifton was born October 6th, 1959 to Sarah Lee-Jackson and the late Edward
“BB” Beavers, Sr., in Port Huron, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his father; Edward “BB” Beavers, Sr., Niece;
Brukeesha Beavers, and nephew; Edward “Ej” Beavers, III.
He attended Port Huron Area Schools and was a three sport athlete who received
many awards for his athleticism and perfect attendance. (Yes, he received an
award for perfect attendance lol)
He was employed for many years at Kenosha Beef in Kenosha, Wisconsin and
retired after a work related injury. (He was kicked by a black angus; that just goes
to show you how tough he really was)
Clifton was Baptized many years ago in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, and even though
he didn’t live his life on the straight and narrow path God had paved out for him,
he still gets to walk those golden roads with his heavenly father, because, before
he left this earth he dedicated his life back to the Lord with the help of his daughter
Shanelle and brother in law Pastor David Nichols.
He loved his sports and tv shows, but more than anything he loved his FAMILY!
Clifton is survived by his mother; Sarah Lee-Jackson of Port Huron, Michigan,
his children; Shanelle Jackson of Chesterfield, Michigan, Clifton “Pj” (Lindsey)
Jackson, Jr. of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Monique Jackson of Two Rivers,
Wisconsin, and two bonus sons; Luke Galasso and Glenn Smith of Two Rivers,
Wisconsin, h is g randchildren; A nastasia P inkney o f C hesterfield, M ichigan,
Clifton Jackson, III and Xavier Jackson of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Gabriella,
Madalyn and Miles Gonzalez of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, his siblings; Iran
(Eugena) Gill, Lori Malcolm, Derrick Jackson, Edward “Bruster” (Sue) Beavers,
Jr, Loretta (Byron) Hazley, Patricia Beavers and Willie Myers all of Port Huron,
Michigan and longtime special friend; Marie Stevens of Racine, Wisconsin, the
mothers of his children; Laurie Nichols of Chesterfield, Michigan and Tammy
Radke of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, special uncle Robert Haskins of Port Huron,
Michigan, and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.
