Charles D Montgomery, Jr of Jackson, MI passed away at Henry Ford Hospital on November 25, 2023, age 57.
Chuck, as his family and friends called him, was born on November 3, 1966, in Jackson, MI, the son of Charles and Doris Montgomery, Sr.
He is survived by his son, Charles D Montgomery III; his sisters Jeneice Carter and Mary Ann Clarke (brother in-law Henry), nephew Barrington Carter and great niece Natalya Rayas Carter.
Chuck treasured life, loved to laugh, and made others laugh. He was fond of chocolate cake and enjoyed cooking. He was the biggest U of M and Detroit Lions fan regardless of where he travelled. Chuck served in the Army and got the greatest joy working for the Wisconsin Railroad. He cherished the freedom of traveling on the rails to new destinations. Chuck loved and was loved by many long-term friends that were like family as well as many he met along life’s journey.
