Buelah Mae Woods' Obituary
Mother Beulah Mae Harrell Woods transitioned from this life to life eternal on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at approximately 11:24 am at Mission Point Health Center. She was born to the late Cleveland Harrell, Sr. and Beulah Norris Harrell on October 7, 1933 in Jackson, Michigan.
She attended public schools in Jackson County. She was married to Elder John Woods for 15 years.
Leaving a great legacy behind, Mother Woods was a faithful and dedicated member of Faith Temple Word of Faith Ministries for over 60 years under the leadership of the late Founding Pastor Non Walker and the present pastor, Apostle John Walker. She was a strong pillar in the body of Christ serving as Sunday School Teacher, President of the Usher Board, and a member of the singing group known as the Emmanuel Inspirational Singers. Mother Woods stood strong and was a champion for the cause of Christ until she faced health challenges. She always had a kind and encouraging word for those that came her way. Her favorite pastimes were knitting and Arts and Crafts. She loved hats and had a “Hat For Every Occasion.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters; Clara Daniels, Loretta Simpson, Mary Bonds, Josephine Harrell, Cora Lee Peirce, Kathleen Potts, and Tina Acree, three brothers; Deanie Harrell, Cleveland (Seebut) Harrell, and Curtis Harrell.
She leaves to cherish her memories; Elder John Woods, one son; Gary (Cynthia) Morgan of Canton, Michigan, two sisters; Betty Smith (her loving caregiver) of Jackson, Michigan, and Martha Tillman of Kalamazoo, Michigan, one brother; Elder Joseph (Elmira) Harrell of Grand Rapids, Michigan, one granddaughter; Dasha Morgan, a special niece and caregiver, Theresa “Pig” Simpson, two godchildren; Deanna Walker and Perry Love, and a host of family and friends.
