Bennie Williams Sr.'s Obituary
Bennie Williams Sr. went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2025. He was born in Lambert, Mississippi to the late B.W. and Mary Williams. Bennie spent over 20 years in construction and 15 years as a freight elevator operator before he retired. He spent most of his days watching Good Times, Gunsmoke and, Rifleman. On a nice spring or summer day you could find him sitting on his front porch or in the yard looking for four leaf clovers for which he found all the time. He had a passion for fishing and going to baseball games with his sons and grandsons. To know him was to love him. The captain of our family will be missed.
Bennie is preceded in death by his wife Juanita Williams of 54 years and four sons (Ben, Melvin, Gregory, Timothy Sr. (Lisa). He leaves to cherish his memory two sons: Bennie Jr. (Sharon) & Michael Sr. (Nichelle); five daughters: Kittie Mae (Earl), Barbara (Johnnie), Bonita (Kenneth), Jamie, & Rosemary; 23 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 34 great- great-grandchildren, a special great-grandson Kobe Marshall and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
