Barbara Jane Hatchett's Obituary
Barbara Jane Hatchett, 81, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2016. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and moved to Jackson, Michigan at an early age. She was preceded in death by her mother; Elizabeth Jones and her father; Oscar Hatchett.
She was a preschool teacher for Head Start for 30 years, which was a passion of hers; those memories were carried with her until her death.
Barbara is survived by one son; Chris (Kim) Hatchett, and three grandchildren; Eddie Bellers, Crina Hatchett and Brandon Holmon.
Her family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Highland Alzheimer's Care and Heartland Hospice for all of the loving care they provided to her during her final years.
