Anthony Dexter Davidson's Obituary
Anthony Dexter “Dee Dee” Davison was born to the union of Prophet R. who preceded him in death, and Thelma Davidson on August 29, 1953. Anthony accepted Christ at the age of 9 years old. He was preceded in death by one sister, Theresa and two brothers, Samuel and Tyronza. The family moved to Detroit in 1963. He attended the Detroit and Highland Park Public School System. He joined the football team at Kettering High School and sustained an injury to his collarbone and never touched a football again. He enjoyed life and traveled the world; and later made his home in San Diego, California where he studied and became a substance abuse counselor. He enjoyed being a counselor and leading people down the road to recovery. Anthony was a sharp dresser. Boy could he dress. He represented Hp4life everywhere he went. Anthony returned home in 2015 to care for his mother. He had a heart for his family and enjoyed family get-togethers. Anthony made his transition on August 4, 2018 to a higher plain. He leaves to rejoice in his home going his loving mother; Thelma Sykes, one son; Ronni, four daughters; Megan, Cynthia, Kylie and Beauty, four grandchildren, two sisters; Deborah and Brenda Davidson, one brother; Tommie, and a host of relatives and friends, one special friend; T’wana Tucker. We celebrate Anthony's courage and insight on life. Even in his suffering he faced death without conflict, his strength, spirit, and peace continues as our inspiration.
