Annie Clara Tillman's Obituary
On November 1, 1942 the world was blessed with the birth of Annie Clara
Littleton. Annie was the first living born child of the late Welborn and
Mabula Littleton.
Annie was educated in the Detroit Public Schools system where she graduated
from Eastern High school June 24, 1960; she went on and began her work
career as a Mail carrier and Clerk for the United States Post Office.
On May 26, 1961 she was united in marriage to Arthur Tillman who preceded
her in death and gave birth to five children; one Nicole Tillman preceding her
in death.
After a long hiatus she went on to receive higher learning at Wayne Community
College and became a Tax accountant, after years of being a Tax accountant
Annie returned to the United States Post Office where she retired from after 23
years of service.
Annie enjoyed her retirement by going on lots of trips, attending family
gatherings, she entertained several people who enjoyed her as well until her
health and physical abilities became limited and curtailed her adventures.
On May 20, 2020 the Lord visited with Annie at the hospital at 3:50 in the
morning and said you’ve fought a good fight come on home daughter.
Annie leaves her children to cherish her memory; Juanice Hubbard, Arthur
Tillman, Michael Tillman, and Andrea Tillman, two sisters; Brenda Littleton
and Sheniel Hall, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one daughter inlaw,
and a host of family and friends.
