Albert Reed, Jr.'s Obituary
On January 7, 2016 Albert Reed Jr. was called home to be with his Savior. He was born September 20, 1921 in Mound Bayou, Mississippi to Albert Reed Sr. and Luella James. Never losing his faith, he would say it's all in the hands of the Lord and I shall look to the hills for which my help come. He shall never leave nor forsake me for I am his child. He would also say "It's just me and the good Lord."
Albert Reed Jr. will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, uncle and friend. Albert Reed Jr. devoted his life to helping and caring for those he loved and cherished. He was always donating to charities. He was a long time supporter of Feed the Children. He was great with his hands. His passions were always fixing cars, gardening, carpentry, dressing sharp, cooking, fishing and his love for down south. Most of all his love for his family.
Preceding him in death were his mother and father, his wife Mary Reed and Christine Greer-Reed. His brother and sisters Mae ella McClain, Bill Reed, Lee Bertha Clawson and Alberta Reed. His children Lunnell Reed, Rozenia Reed and Ira Lee Reed.
Albert Reed Jr. leaves to cherish his memory, Romney Reed (Corisa Reed), Albert Reed Ill, Ross Reed, Daniel Reed, Lulapearl Roseberry, Martha Reed (Jean Gillis), Christine Reed and Diane Reed. Albert Reed Jr. leaves to celebrate his memories as well a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
