Elzier Enoch Stewart II
January 23, 1977 - August 23, 2021
“Lean not unto our own understanding: “In all thy ways acknowledge him and he will direct thy path.” Proverbs 3: 5-6 Mr. Elzier Enoch Stewart, II was born on January 23, 1977 in Detroit, Michigan to Mr. Elzier Enoch Stewart, Sr. and Verlene Stewart. He accepted Christ at an early age. Elzier attended the Detroit Public Schools and graduated from Southeastern High School in 1995. Elzier went on to join the Navy in 1996 and was honorably discharged due to health issues. Elzier had a love for carpentry as did his father. Elzier loved old school music and history. He was a jokester always making people laugh. He had a glide that you could recognize a mile away when he walked down the street. He loved his children and enjoyed being a father. Elzier and his sister Vee Vee had a love for one another that was ride or die. Sometimes people would often mistake them for twins and would think Verzier was the oldest his own nickname for her was Versace or hasenpfeffer. He and his mom had a special bond like no other. Elzier leaves to rejoice in his memory, his mother; Verlene Stewart, sisters; Verzier Stewart of Detroit, Michigan, Cheryl Smith (Jeff) of Detroit, Michigan, Bersheau Davis (Ron) of North Carolina, three children; Bentley McAdory, twins; Niona and Niair May, three nephews, one niece, four great nieces, one great nephew, one great-great niece and a host of family and friends. Both his father; Elzier Enoch Stewart, Sr. and sister; Rhonda Faye Stewart preceded him in death.
