”Heaven Gained An Angel" "Mama Carol" Carol Ann Dempsey Pittman, 60 years old was born August 21, 1961 to the late Marshall and Mildred A. Dempsey. She attended Roosevelt High School. She worked in healthcare, the restaurant industry and at the Interfaith Shelter where she enjoyed working with people bringing love and joy to anyone she came in contact with. She was loving, caring and always offering guidance and support bringing smiles to everyone’s faces. Carol was a loving Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister; Jackie, one brother; Alonzo, one granddaughter; Carrie Johnson, two nephews; Rickey and Lamont and stepson; Ramone Pittman, also her loving fiancé; Cornell Moore. She is survived by her four children; Marshall, Coszetta, Lorenzo and Alicia, two stepchildren; Kamarrie and Tasha Parson and a special son; Tay White, nine beautiful grandchildren; Marshawn, Amanda, Kyra, Daiquen, Nylah, Tristan, Niyona, Novella, and Manaja, five great-grandchildren; Mirakel, Maverick, Brooklyn, Manaja, Jr., and Daiquien, Jr., one loving sister; Lynn Dempsey, one brother; Wali Bilal and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces, nephews, special family and friends. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.
